writing blues

i have been in front of the computer for the past 3 hours hoping to finish my school paper requirements... as of now all i have are topics to be discussed with nothing substantial in it... why can't i write? i guess i am mentally exhausted after all the report presentations that i had to do in my two classes... add to that the community visits and research work i had to do together with my groupmate for our Participatory monitoring and evaluation (PME) project. I also had to attend to pressing responsibilities in my work as a researcher... well, no need to fret, right... it is better to be busy than to have nothing to do...

this past semester had been very enriching and enlightening for me in terms of accumulating knowledge as well as further deepening what i already know... i did a participatory research in collaboration with people from the community where we are doing the research...this is not an easy task.. our group had to conduct a crash course on research methods and research tools so that we can ensure quality data from our community research team. In the end, these people came through with very good data and useful information both for our class requirements and for the people's organization. As I told my professor the other day, this project was not a school project, we treated it as part of our work... i visited the community more frequently as i visited my office... i will elaborate more on my experience in the next posts... for now, back to working on my paper... that's life... as i see it
